As an independent designer my design fees are not subject to the substainal overhead of larger firms; and as a small business owner I also understand the need to budget your projects. For this reason I bid every initial project before we get started, outlining the goals, requirements and fees. If additional work is needed to complete a project, an additional bid can be drawn up and agreed upon before the additional work commences. The concept is simple:
